~ THIS IS ESSENTIALLY FREE TIME IN ANTIGUA WITH A GUIDE ~

Antigua Guatemala means “Old Guatemala City” and was the third capital of Guatemala founded  on Monday, July 25, 1524—the day of Saint James—and therefore named Ciudad de Santiago de los Caballeros de Goathemalan. Central Park (Parque Central) is the heart of the city. The reconstructed fountain there is a popular gathering spot. Off to the side of the Central Park, the Arco de Santa Catalina is among the many notable architectural landmarks of La Antigua.

“PANA FAMILY FUN DAY”

One day tour from Antigua Guatemala or while staying in the Lake Atitlan area

This tour takes the best of what Lake Atitlan has to offer and blends it into a fun day of activities and relaxation.  Great for kids, families, adults and those who want to enjoy the beauty and excitement of Lake Atitlan. A great day trip idea from Antigua or while you are spending time in the Lake Atitlan area.

The day begins from your hotel in Pana at 8:30am. (If leaving from Antigua, a 6:30am departure time is prudent).

Your bilingual guide will meet you at and bring you to the boat dock in Pana for the village of Santa Cruz where you will spend the day with a bilingual guide and have activities with USA safety standards.  Kayak, swim, hike, rock climb, archery, trampoline…   You decide on your activities and time frame and ENJOY ! A filling and nutritious lunch is also included. All activities are centrally located and you can also enjoy a professional massage and/or facial on site (extra fee). When you are ready (and tired !), return by boat to your hotel or waiting transport in Panajachel.

Cost includes bilingual guide, lunch, all activities, boat to/from Santa Cruz.

Note: Some families choose to have the adults relax and read while the children are (safely) running around expending their energy with the experienced and professional guide
